About the OMC Register

The OMC Register is brought to you by the Office for Multicultural Faculty Careers.  It can be used as a research guide or reference tool to help you keep current on topics of interest.

The articles compiled within these pages contain information pertaining to minority faculty development, socioeconomic determinants of health, healthcare disparities, healthcare workforce diversity and disease management in underserved populations.

Articles are fed daily by PubMed.

What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication".  It is a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the Web including newspapers, magazines and even databases like PubMed.

How do I subscribe to a RSS feed?

If you already subscribe to a RSS Reader, simply click the link, "Subscribe to this Feed" and follow the instructions. If you are new to RSS Feeds and Readers watch a video tutorial to learn how to use web-based and standalone RSS Readers.

How it Works

Specific PubMed search criteria were established for each topic using MeSH.  Search results were then converted into RSS Feeds.  The content displayed for each topic is fed daily directly from PubMed.

To directly access the search results on PubMed, click the link "Visit Website" found under the article near the bottom of each page.

For specific PubMed search strategies see the "Search Strategy" box on each page.

To access archived articles by topic, see the "Archived Articles" box on each page.
